Healing Through Horses
Equine therapy brings people and horses together for the sake of healing, wellness and self-discovery. It is a therapy increasingly popular around the world with Ben Affleck and singer Selina Gomez, amongst others, who have sought assistance as part of a wider therapy programme.
Intuitive Horse Therapy is equine assisted personal development through experiential learning. The relationship with horses helps facilitate change for people through responsive behaviour. This unique therapy works with people of all types to help them gain a deeper insight and understanding of themselves and horses. They learn how to work with emotional awareness with a particular emphasis on learning how to “quieten” the mind and “be’” in a present moment state. It is believed that a horses’ behaviour changes from person to person and tends to respond directly to a persons’ emotional state, regardless of riding ability.
Having witnessed the positive impact horses can have a range of Intuitive Horse programmes including private one on one sessions, workshops and 3 & 5 day retreats are offered. All work with the horses is done from the ground and nor riding experience is required.
Intuitive Horse is based at New Coghurst Farm near Hastings East Sussex, Southern England. It is a family run farm. Techniques, experience and understanding this therapy are offered in person or virtually through workshops by Intuitive Horse https://www.intuitivehorse.com.
